We start with fresh jumbo Pecan halves, a little pure can sugar, add a few dashes of freshly ground cayenne pepper and add a pinch of salt at the end.  The combination of sweet and hot makes for a tantalizing taste that begins sweet and finishes with a bang.  It is just the right mix, not too hot for the delicate palate and just enough for the experienced spicy connoisseur.
